Following my advice paid off!

Posted on by in Uncategorized

Congratulations to this seller for putting into action what he learned.  If you have my book than you know about the vintage sheets I tell you about. Well I have to be honest, this is a family member of mine. They wanted to earn some extra money so I told them to just do what I do. I gave them a copy of my book  (c’mon, it’s family!) and they went for it.  Look at what a 99 cents investment did for them………..

Wow! Congratulations. This is the kind of thing I am talking about.  With only a dollar in your pocket, you can turnaround and make yourself some easy cash. What an inspiration for all of us!

Remember to look in the linens area. This seems obvious but sometimes it’s a hidden little spot in the store. Or, it can be in a bin or folded up on some shelves.

    Hey, Brigitte!

I recently purchased a kitty cat figurine from one of the local thrifts for less than a dollar. It ended up selling for over $50! I was shocked because I thought it looked kinda ugly, not my taste, but am so glad I purchased it because someone was willing to pay so much for it!

    Here’s the listing: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=380194360830

The buyers told me that this piece is from the 1960′s/1970′s, and that they have a whole houseful of stuff from this time period.

That’s awesome. Definitely motivating for the rest of us. And something new to look out for!
