So, I’ve had some amazing emails from a lot of you telling me about your success stories with making money from thrift store items. I have also received emails from frustrated folks stating they cannot find anything. I wanted to talk about that so here I am.
The items in the book are items that you need to tattoo into your brain. Basically, they are a mental list to carry around so that WHEN YOU DO see them you’ll have an “aha” moment. You’ll know, THAT is a goldmine! Snatch it up! It’s crazy making to think that you can walk into a thrift store expect these items, ANY items to be there waiting for you. Is this to discourage you? No way! This is to remind you to be reasonable with our business model which is finding vintage items to resell.
I also ask that you don’t limit yourself to just the items in the book. Those items are the “for sure” items that you are to keep an eye out for. But do think outside the box. Get ideas FROM these items to do further research. Type in the name of some of these items into Hammertap and see what related items are searched for as well. I can’t tell you how much I’ve found this way.
It can be frustrating when we don’t see the fruits of our labor but trust me, don’t give up, be reasonable, logical knowing it’s all a numbers game.
You CAN make it happen!
